(Khmer Times photo)A Taiwanese tourist has been arrested for using a drone camera to film prohibited areas in front of the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh. He was filming the garden in front of the Royal Palace and the Mekong River, but had failed to seek authorisation from the police. Mong said the area in front of the Royal Palace is off limits to photographers. “He was arrested after filming the Royal Palace and the surrounding areas,” the officer said. Police confiscated one drone and one camera from the man, but returned it after deleting the illegal images.
